WHAT I HOPE TO ACHIEVE?
We are always with, and surrounded by people which isn’t a bad thing at all. But, as social as what we may think we are, I think there is something so profound and something so important that happens when we are on our own. It is in these times that we really hear ourselves – without influence, without suggestions, without the direction or misdirection from others – hearing that little voice that each of us has that so desperately needs to be heard.
It strongly resonates with the little voices of every child that is fighting this terrible disease. I am hoping that my journey will give voice to their struggle, raise awareness and help them on their journey.
The only difference is, that I will most likely survive…
